This is the message of the latest video of the Climate Change Department at the Ministry of Environment that reveals key beneficiaries of LoCAL. The video that premiered in the Third National Forum in Cambodia explains how this cross cutting issue can only be tackled using a multi faceted approach at policy level.
Some key sequences of the film reveal the work of LoCAL in Takeo province where a pond was made to provide drinking water to the local people. The film relates to Cambodia's Strategic Policy approach to climate change. It provides explanation of key vulnerabilities and explains how these are tackled through an inter-ministerial and cross-sector based approach. It features various interviews of members of the National Climate Change Committee and the key people involved in a cross sector response to the issue of climate change. It was produced by the Climate Change Department of the Ministry of Environment, with support of the Cambodia Climate Change Alliance (European Union, UNDP, SIDA, Danida.)
